I am a huge fan of The Lord of the Rings. The adventure of the small hobbit, Frodo, who seems to have no power, overcoming a difficult journey with his friend Sam, feels just like navigating my own tough life, where I can't predict what’s ahead. And the way different races—humans, elves, and dwarves—unite under the powerful wizard Gandalf to help Frodo, seems to symbolize that humans can never live alone. It really resonates with me. I wanted to remember the movie beautifully, so I painted Rivendell, where my favorite places from The Lord of the Rings(elves live), using acrylic and oil paints. I would love to share this artwork with other fans of The Lord of the Rings.
